What's Inside the box?

November's theme is: Honoring Citizens from Sovereign Tribal Nations

Two carefully-selected books with accompanying discussion guides ("SHIFT guides") as well as general conversation prompts ("Seed Starters") relating to a social justice theme.

Develop a collection of picture books & resources to support you in introducing social justice topics and diverse representations of people to your children ages 3 through 8.

This library will support a lexicon SHIFT for you & your children,

one that reflects a deep respect for the myriad of ways in which people present, identify, & experience the world, & for the acts of resistance in which they engage.

By affirming and spreading this lexicon, your family can help mobilize to create a systemic shift toward a more equitable world.
